Fire Restrictions have now ceased in the City of Greater Bendigo. However when burning off on your property you must still comply with the City of Greater Bendigo's local by-laws.
Which state the following:
This section applies only to residential areas.
(a) A person shall not light, allow to be lit or remain alight any incinerator at any time.
(b) A person shall not without a permit or consent of an authorised officer light an open air fire on any Monday, Wednesday,Thursday, Friday or Sunday unless authorised pursuant to an Act or Regulation.
